GC Rieber Salt has selected three of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals where we feel where we can exert the most influence and contribute the most.

Innovation and infrastructure

Stradasalt makes roads safer and reduces airborne particulates. We advise our customers on the correct way to use salt to thaw ice and bind dust. Chloride-free alternatives are kinder to vegetation and areas exposed to corrosion.

Responsible consumption and production

Optimised logistics solutions. Our “Salt as a Service” products ensure that you only use as much salt as is necessary.

Climate action

We maximise bulk shipments to the Nordic market.

The GC Rieber Foundations

21 per cent of Stradasalt and GC Rieber Salt is owned by the GC Rieber Foundations. This means that 21 per cent of the Group’s profits go to social welfare, culture, research and outdoor recreation.
